Get on the list, step by step
- Make sure your DIR public works registration is current. California requires it to bid public works. The district notes that joining its list does not count as DIR registration or prequalification.
- Register on QualityBidders (qualitybidders.com) for the district's 2027 CUPCCAA list. The sign-up link is on the district's Pre-Qualification and/or CUPCCAA page.
- If you bid as a prime or MEP sub on state-bond projects of $1 million or more, prequalify on QualityBidders. Applications must arrive 10 business days before the bid opening and be approved 5 business days before. Approval lasts one year.
