Palomar's page still says '2025' application, '2023' list and $200,000. Check the year on the form and confirm current limits with Contract Services.
Get on the list, step by step
- Make sure your DIR public works registration is current. California requires it to bid public works.
- Complete the Informal Bidding Contractor Application in Palomar's PlanetBids portal (planetbids.com). Instructions are linked from the Business Opportunities page.
- For projects over $250,000, send in the Contractor PreQualification Application (from the Contractor Pre-Qualification page). The district emails a requalification package before June 30.
- Check PlanetBids for new bids yourself. Being on a list does not replace that.
