The Measure MM page still uses the older $60,000 / $200,000 limits and a 2020 prequalification form. Confirm current limits with Purchasing.
Get on the list, step by step
- Make sure your DIR public works registration is current. California requires it to bid public works.
- Register as a vendor on MiraCosta's PlanetBids portal (planetbids.com). The link is on the Doing Business page.
- Register for each bid you want. The district says registrations are per project, so you get its addenda.
- Join the Contractor Database for direct bid notices: fill in the Bid Notifications Interest Form and email it to mccdbondprocurement@kitchell.com.
- For projects below $200,000, fill in the district's prequalification application (linked from the Contract Opportunities page).
