How jobs go out, by size
| Job size or type | How it goes out | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| $220,000 or less | Informal bid. A "Notice Inviting Bids" goes only to contractors on the city's Qualified Bidders List for that category of work. | Fill in the city's online Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application (steps below). Not on the list, no invitation. |
| Advertised projects, RFPs and RFQs | Posted on BidNet Direct, linked from the city's RFPs & Construction Bids page. Bid results are there too. | Register on BidNet Direct to see details and submit. |
The city says it will try to deliver every bid notice by email but cannot guarantee it, so also check BidNet Direct.
