How jobs go out, by size

Get on the list, step by step
- Make sure your DIR public works registration is current. California requires it to bid public works.
- Complete the Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application on the City's Qualified Bidders List page: contact details, your DIR registration number, your CSLB license number and expiration date, and every license class you hold (A, B, C-10, C-36, C-39 and so on). Incomplete forms are not added.
- Notices are sent by email to the address you give. The City says it cannot guarantee every notice arrives, so also watch for formal bids.
- For formal bids, register on BidNet Direct (bidnetdirect.com, City of Poway).
