Get on the list, step by step
- Make sure your DIR public works registration is current. California requires it to bid public works. The city's bid notices say all contractors and subcontractors must be registered.
- Register as a vendor on PlanetBids (planetbids.com, Lemon Grove portal), linked from the city's Contracting Opportunities page.
- Check each notice for the required license class (for example, Class A General Engineering for sewer work).
