How jobs go out, by size
| Job size or type | How it goes out | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Highway construction projects | Advertised on Caltrans's Contractor's Corner. Caltrans says projects are added every week and stay advertised three to seven weeks. | Watch the District 11 list on the Contracting Opportunities Portal. Each listing shows the license classes for most of the work. |
| Small construction jobs ("SB Minor B") | Advertised on Cal eProcure. The District 11 listings say the contractor must be a certified Small Business. | Get Small Business (SB) certification and create a Cal eProcure profile to get notices. |
| Service contracts (e.g. landscape maintenance) | Advertised on Cal eProcure; some are open only to certified Small Businesses or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE). | Read each listing for the certification it requires. |
Dollar limits for Minor A and Minor B jobs change over time; check the current limit on each listing.
