Get on the list, step by step
- Make sure your DIR public works registration is current. California requires it to bid public works. The district says this is separate from its own contractor list.
- Fill in the district's Contractor Registration Application (a Google form linked on its Purchasing Department page) to join its list of CUPCCAA contractors. CUPCCAA is the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act, the state's informal bidding rules.
- The district says the list is for the upcoming calendar year. Ask Purchasing whether you need to sign up again each year.
- Check the Purchasing Department page for current bids.
